Dual Sidewall Designs

Each Grappler has two sidewall designs so you can choose how your tyres look. On the Nitto Dura Grappler®, one side has a metal fin design and the other has a traditional design. Nitto's ability to produce exceptionally uniform off-road tyres with this feature is an engineering feat as even small weight imbalances can cause unwanted vibrations.

Multi-Rib Pattern

A multi-rib pattern helps improve tread life by linking the tread blocks to reduce tread flex, with the added benefit of reduced road noise.

Advanced Siping

Siping helps resist hydroplaning by cutting through pockets of water on road surfaces. The Nitto Dura Grappler® is equipped with waved sipes to increase traction in wet conditions while maintaining tread block rigidity.

Wet Performance

Circumferential grooves evacuate water from the tread pattern to maintain traction in wet and slushy conditions.

Specific Patterns

The Nitto Dura Grappler® is offered in two separate tread patterns across light-truck and passenger constructions. The light-truck Nitto Dura Grappler® maximises strength with a durable 4-rib design while the 5-rib design of the passenger version minimises tyre noise.
